Who should complete the survey?
Anyone who works on a paid basis in a third / voluntary sector organisation, whether as an employee or a manager.
How long do I have to complete the survey?
The survey will remain open for you to complete until 30 November 2022.
Who is administering the survey?
The Scottish Centre for Employment Research team at the University of Strathclyde are administering the survey on behalf of GCVS, Highland TSI and the Robertson Trust.
How long will the survey take to complete?
You will need approximately 20-25 minutes to complete the survey.
Do I need to complete the survey in one session or can I complete it in parts?
You can work through this survey at your convenience and your progress is automatically saved as long as you use the same device to access it and before the survey closing on 30 November. If you are using a shared device you will need to complete it in one sitting.
What happens to the data I provide?
Only the University research team will have access to the survey data. The University of Strathclyde will provide a report to the joint funders in which no individual organisation or person is identifiable. Your anonymous response will be stored securely and confidentially by the research team at the University of Strathclyde. All use of the data will be governed by the strict ethical protocols of the University of Strathclyde.
Do I have to take part in the survey?
Your participation is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time without providing a reason up to the point that your anonymous completed response is recorded. However, you are strongly encouraged to provide your feedback so that we have a clear evidence base on experiences of work in the sector.
Can I complete the survey on my mobile phone?
The survey can be completed on your smart phone, desktop, laptop or a tablet.
