In North Ayrshire and Arran £402,148.00 of funding will be distributed via Arran Community and Voluntary Service (Arran CVS). We will be working in partnership with The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT), our local Integrated Joint Board (IJB), Community Planning Partnership (CPP), people with lived experience and other relevant organisations in our networks to develop a local plan.

This is a reflection of the importance of prevention and early intervention approached in protecting peoples’ mental health and wellbeing and the vital role of communities in delivering this. It aims to build on important work that TSI’s and partners have been doing through this Fund since 2021.

Building on the focus on wellbeing and prevention in the Transition and Recovery Plan, the Fund provides significant investment into community support for adults. This investment complements the children and young people’s community wellbeing supports currently being rolled out across Scotland.

The ambition of this fund is to support initiatives that promote mental health and wellbeing for adults (16+) at small scale, grassroots, community level. The fund can support both new and existing groups or projects, mental health does not need to be the central focus, but the activity should clearly benefit the wellbeing of people, providing opportunities to connect and revitalise our communities.
